Yesterday I really wanted to wear this spring dress despite the chill in the air. It had been in the sewing pile but only needed a small rip mended. I found this dress for a dollar at my local vintage clothes store. I love pairing just about everything with black and florals are no exception.
This camera is better at taking avant garde photos than regular ones.
I love your dress! It's very cute.
ReplyDeleteYour floral dress is lovely! I can't believe it was just $1, what a steal!
ReplyDeleteYippeee! I love black and floral! It's perfect for transitioning out of winter wardrobe into spring!
ReplyDeleteGreat dress and i love how it pops against the black :)
ReplyDeletei love that dress! good choice on wearing it. sometimes you just have to wear what you want and not let the silly old weather determine your outfit!
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty... Beatrix too!
ReplyDeleteThat light floral dress goes perfectly with your dark hair.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are wonderful. I love taking ones where I'm moving and look like a shadow. The dress is perfect with the black tights and shoes.
ReplyDeleteNo, both my MAs are in history...the second one was just the first component in the PhD that I began. I actually started an MLS last year though, but left after I realized how much I loved the oral history elective that I took (no big surprise there:) and didn't really like the library class (reference). I was trying really hard to be overly practical, but it ultimately felt silly to spend all of that money to get a degree that I didn't really like. Now I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do. Going back to school is in my mind, but I want to do it for something I love.
Cold War history is so interesting. Dan studied it when he was getting his MA in history. He did his thesis on the Spanish Civil War. Now he's in a Museum Studies Program, getting another MA, and when he took an exhibition planning course last year he chose to focus on representations of the Spanish Civil War from both sides. It was so interesting.
