As I mentioned in my last post I've been on a baking and cooking spree this week. These peanut butter chocolate cupcakes were a hit for a sort of belated birthday celebration today for Bea's cousin. The recipe can be found here. They turned out amazing. I almost forgot to take a picture so some of the chocolate chips are missing. I used half the sugar it said for the frosting because I really can't handle how much they put in most recipes.
I found a new location for rainy days on the porch.
I should really start a post called $1 shirts because this one was less than $1 and is amazing. I really need to dye my jeans blacker again. Has anyone done that without dying their whole bathtub black? Accessories are thrifted of course!
Beatrix got a very large sleepsuit secondhand from her cousin. She was very intent on watching Dora the Explorer for the photo though.
Yesterday I took some photos of an outfit but I didn't actually end up wearing it. I think it needed a different top. I haven't been feeling super inspired outfit-wise. It was so bright outside I look like a ghost! Everything is thrifted. I was pretty excited that my hair is finally long enough to french braid though. I am going to stop making sweets for awhile. I want to make more savory breads and such. These are the heart shaped apple gallettes we made earlier this week.
your daughter is such a cutie! she's so into her dora too. love all the baking your doing betty! the first look with the jeans looks fab on you(wish i could pull pants off like that) and so does the dollar shirt. i love a good bargain. your second outfit is great too. can that skirt be any more perfect for spring!? i think it would be cute hemmed shorter too.
