Today I spent taking in the Doris and Donald Fisher Collection at the MOMA in SF. I took a few of my favorite fancy frocks to take pictures with the art. What an inspiring day! This was one of the first pieces I saw and one of my very favorites. This week on the blog will be featuring some of the incredible pieces in the museum along with some very pretty dresses worthy of such an environment.

Oh whoa you're visiting San Francisco? I hope you had a good time! I need to visit the MOMA and see that neon art piece! I love that the MOMA allows people to take photos :) I was stopped at the Tate Modern in London, boo!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are sooo cool -- much better than my super creepy Cambridge peeping Tom! I really regret not visiting the MoMA when I was in SF a fews years ago but I love the NYC one (it's like the MET, I've been like 10 times but I just keep going back).

You look so fantastic in that dress! I want to go to the MOMA!!! Everytime I see or read or listen to the work of artists from the 1960's it blows my mind. I feel like we've gone backwards since then with art making. They were truly a visionary generation.
ReplyDeleteThat piece is fantastic! It makes such an awesome background for outfit photos!
