Alaric found this amazing 1980s shirt at Crimson and Clover.
This afternoon was spent lounging at the river and watching Bea and her cousin play. The weather was absolutely perfect and it was good to spend some time outside before it rains tomorrow. We spent some time discussing how enormous the oil spill in the Gulf is. It is something that has been on my mind lately. the environmental impact is going to be huge and since nothing like this has ever ever happened all the results are difficult to project. I am wearing the sweater I won from Rare Treasure Vintage.

Peach is very much your color, and curious if you live on the lake, or if it is just close by?

wow, that dress is beautiful. I like how it can be changed up into a variety of different shapes. You can wear it over and over and it'll look different all the time.
ReplyDeleteLove that sweater you're wearing. Such a pretty colour.
The little sweater was meant for you, so glad you won that giveaway :) Honestly, I didn't recognize you at first in the dress. Girl, you look fabulous all gussied up in pastels!! Seriously, I love your look, and the dress is so amazing. I'm worried (mostly angry) about the oil spill as well. But I won't vent in your comments, I just wanted to let you know..
ReplyDeleteHere's to future happier times! I see that Pabst Blue Ribbon! Or is it Bud?

ReplyDeleteI'd fogotten how great peach looks in the sun! Sadly it's not quite warm enough in the UK yet for proper summer dresses xx
ReplyDeleteThat dress is UH-MAZING! I can't believe it! When it's all together it reminds me of something out of My Fair Lady. When it's stripped down the cut of it reminds me of Breakfast at Tiffany's for some reason.
ReplyDeleteEither way (and any in between) it's too amazing for words! Good job!
oil spills always make me so sad. when I was a little girl I used to cry about them! I probably still would if I watched the news about it!
ReplyDeleteAs for the dress: YES!!! Wonderful colour on you. And you are right, life IS too short not to dress up. I really like the second outfit too. Peach is indeed your colour.
