After coffee we headed to 'the bins'. This place is not for the faint of heart. The clothes are unsorted and sold by the pound. I have found some amazing pieces there for next to nothing though and today was no exception. I found an amazing jumpsuit and retro 70's blazer today that I will post soon! It was Bella's first time there and she found a ton of pieces too.
It was great to meet another style blogger. Bella is, as her name would indicate, very beautiful and also a lot of fun to hang out with. We are definitely going to go thrifting again soon.
Hey! You beat me to the punch. My post goes up tomorrow morning. Had a blast with you & Beatrix! Looking forward to our next thrifting adventure. xo. -Bella Q

Awesome! SO great, and I love your sheer, polka dot top... this summer I'm all about sheer tops!
ReplyDeleteomg I want a place where they sell clothing by the pund here in Germany, too! looks like lots of fun to dig through the rummage tables :D
ReplyDeleteSounds like so much fun and I like how you match with her. The polka dots are so lively and fun.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter looks adorable.
ooh this place sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of these "bins" stores that seem to exist in the US. I WOULD SO BE IN HEAVEN. And I am so excited to see your finds! I don't know what it is, but being told someone went shopping I always want to see what she got. That's an awkward sentence. What I'm trying to say is: REALLY I am EXCITED to see!!
ReplyDeleteplus, love the top on you! Sexy yet sophisticated and super cool.
are you on the west coast? i think the whole bins concept is only there - we don't have it on the east coast at all (at least not that i know of, and i've been up and down the coast). the only time i've even seen bins like this was when i visited san francisco.
ReplyDeleteSeems like you've spent a beutiful day! I'd like to go thrifting with you, you always find the coolest things!! I love your outfit :) XOXO.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on The Citizen Rosebud as well and I love how complementary your styles are!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! Your little lady is tooooo adorable :]
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was how your outfits compliment each other.. That store looks like a blast, wow by the pound! Love the polka dot top.
ReplyDeleteoh how cool! You and Bella even kinda match! What fun to thrift with a fellow thrifting fashionista :D Lovin' Bea's oufit--sooooooo cute!
ReplyDeletegreat post!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so fun! is "the bin" the same as Goodwill warehouse? if it is there's one about an hour from where i live but i haven't been to. Would love to go though. Anyway, i love your blouse and Bea is soo cute with that jacket, the collar is lovely!
ReplyDeleteaw, ya'll look so happy with your finds :) Cant wait to see your post with your new gems
ReplyDeleteYour little girl is so freakin' adorable! :D
ReplyDeleteI can see where she gets it from...

BINS looks like it is my heaven getaway!
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky you have other bloggers around your neck of the woods,
I only know the ones who are my friends, we have few thrifters here.
Little Bea looks so cute, and the chalkboard in the cafe is adorable for kids!
How fun, I love how you guys are both wearing polka dots and Bea trying to escape the photo is classic, I know that move all too well! Speaking of which, I can't believe you braved the bins with a two-year old, my hat is off to you ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you took Bea to The Bins! She must be exceptionally well behaved :-)
ReplyDeleteNext time I am headed to Sac with Mycelia I should totally call you (are you on Facebook?).
I adore what you're wearing!
Raquel and I have been friends since our Co-op days, she is the best.
