Karmann Ghia

We had such fun wine tasting today.  Beatrix's cape in the last photo is chenille from her great-grandma and made in 1939. I'm going to try to get a better photo of it soon. Bea and I both opted for tulle underskirts.  The photos are actually taken at the same place as our trip last month wine tasting on Valentine's day. We wanted to share one of our favorite wineries with Alaric's mom. I love old cars. This one is a classic Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.

Fairytale Town

 

Went with Bea and her grandma from out of town to fairytale town and had so much fun. It is a totally retro toddler paradise. I went there when I was little. Her favorite part was watering the plants or when she says it, rubber pants. We have sort of an amazing weekend planned. Tomorrow we are going wine tasting and Sunday we are going on a day trip to San Francisco. I feel like I'm on a pre-vacation. It is definitely getting me in the mood. Just found out today we are most likely going to visit New York City this summer! I've never been so I'm very excited. What are some of your vacation plans?

The day of the Unicorn

Ok I have a confession to make. I sometimes want to wear the same outfit the next day especially when I wore the outfit for only half the prior day (provided the clothes are still clean of course.) I almost did that today except I changed the shirt for a totally different effect. I was just going to school so didn't need to dress up as much. This is my only unicorn piece of clothing and it is one of my favorite tees. I like how the sort of messed up pictures turned out better than the "good" ones. I think they are a little more interesting. In other news there will be a surprise giveaway for next week! I am going to check out some little thrift stores while on vacation and I want to find something extra special  for the contest. I will have a post before I leave on Tuesday. I am so happy that there are people who actually like our little blog. Thank you so much and I highly recommend it. I wish everyone I knew had a blog.

Overpowered

It  was not a good day to take pictures as much as I wanted to. It's raining really hard. I listened to an album by Roisin Murphy from a couple of years ago today and I still feel that she is an incredible artist. I really like pop music when it is done right. She also has a pretty amazing outfit on in the video.

I finally found an outfit to go with these socks. I wasn't too crazy with how the photo of mine turned out though. The scarf has little hummingbirds on it.
