What I've Been Up To

The good thing about being sick/allergies is it slows you down. I had a blast last month running around modeling and photographing. Mendocino was magical. I feel so renewed for the rest of the year.

I've been having so much fun being the photographer on various photo shoots!

My daughter continues to amaze me with her loveliness. All the pictures can be found by clicking on each name.

Wishing everyone love and if you are in the Sacramento or Bay area and would like to be photographed let me know.

I don't have a ton of new work up but here is a little I've been able to do in my spare time. I love how early spring starts in Sacramento. Just wanted to do a quick post so I don't completely neglect my blog.

Kirill Khanenkov

skirt-thunderhorse vintage, heels-bebe buffalo exchange sf, blouse thrifted
I normally don't love so many photos from a shoot. Kirill is so talented and I am definitely planning on making more room in  my schedule to work with him again. This was an impromptu shoot by the beach that was accomplished in little more than an hour. He used film as you can tell from the quality of the photos.

Chapel of the Chimes

photographer-Zen Renaissance
I did a photo shoot in The Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland last weekend. It was redesigned by the famous architect of Hearst Castle, Julia Morgan in 1928. I would recommend a visit if you are ever in the are as the building is breathtakingly beautiful.

Julia Comita Dolls

I worked with an incredible team In San Francisco a few weeks ago to get these editorial style photos. The other model is Candace (aka Wenchi). I am just absolutely in love with everything in this shoot :the set design, concept, photography, hair and make up, ornate scarring, the vintage styling. Julia was absolutely incredible to work with.
